The best hosting companies – Jill gets interviewed about DreamHost
December 7th, 2009I was contacted recently by WebHostingSearch.com and asked if I would be interviewed about my hosting company. Loving DreamHost.com like I do, I said “of course!” and you can go here to read my interview on DreamHost, my favorite hosting company.
Updated: I have left DreamHost after 6 years because they fail to communicate changes that severely impacted my business, and the businesses of my clients – I now recommend BlueHost.

Well, they just shut down my site without any warning nor questioning due to their anti-fraud system. They don’t even notify me, just shut down the site. I had no way of reaching anyone, only could send emails, and waited 12 hours to just get a reply.

DreamHost does take spam very seriously…I’m not sure what their “anti-fraud” system is, but your website must have something on it that they thought was doing other people harm. If no harm was done, I’m sure they’ll be able to work it out. I’ve been with DreamHost since 2006 and haven’t have a single client’s website be taken down without warning – but again, all my clients are valid small business owners.
