Stephen here. Two spaces before this sentence. Is it about italics? And if so, is it different when I don’t italicize the punctuation mark at the end of this sentence? What if I italicize the last word of this sentence as well as the punctuation mark, but make a space before changing back to normal type? Well, I just did it. What if I do that very same thing, but then make two spaces before changing back to normal type? Maybe that will do it.

Starting a new paragraph, if not a new subject… I think I’ll publish this, then go back and do two things: change certain words to italics, and delete other words and retype new text. So I’ll copy all of what I’ve written so far, and the changes will be evident (below).

So I’ll (deleting more stuff to see if deletions do it) of what I’ve written so far, and the oops I didn’t delete this time, I just started inserting without parentheses. changes will be evid
