Google Maps has moved to Google Plus

June 5th, 2012

A client contacted me today and wanted to know how to write a review for my business on Google Maps. When I checked, the review button was gone!

With a bit of clicking around, I found the review button, it was on a Google Plus page that listed my business.

Here’s my “old” Google Maps listing: Aldebaran Web Design Seattle in Maps

and my “new” Google Plus Maps Listing: Aldebaran Web Design Seattle in New Maps

and then found this article on Search Engine Land:

Google Places Is Over, Company Makes Google+ The Center Of Gravity For Local Search

Wow, big change.
