Browser Wars: Firefox vs Chrome vs Internet Explorer

March 28th, 2011

A good article today at Huffington Post: Google Chrome 10 vs. Firefox 4 vs. Internet Explorer 9: See Which Is Fastest

From the article:

“Though the competition is extremely close…Firefox 4 is strongly favored by HTML5 processing, boot time, and memory usage,” Rosenblatt concluded. “Overall, I’d judge from these results that Firefox 4 is the winner this time around.”

“In terms of safety, Chrome and Firefox seem to be the browsers of choice. The two were both unchallenged at this year’s PWN2OWN hacking competition, according to ComputerWorld.”

Go Firefox!

As I type this I am using Opera, my browser of choice but I do use Firefox too. I never use IE except on some computers for example the public library where there is no choice. I gave up on IE years back when I discovered that there were great alternatives out there.
