Waiting for Google and Bing to crawl a new website is like watching grass grow, you need patience. To be frustrated because it has been two weeks is not having realistic expectations. If you have submitted your site, relax, and just forget about it for a month. Don't even check. This part of the process takes patience. Focus on adding quality content and trust that Google and Bing will eventually come and visit. You can always add a sitemap plugin to make sure that once they do come, all of your pages are easily found.

Hi Josh,
Posting a link here won't help. You need to be sure that your have your blog all set up to be search engine friendly. For WordPress, there are many plugins that work, I like the SEO pack and the Sitemap Generator. Also be sure that you're notifying Google of new posts by the settings in the admin area (there's a place where you can list a bunch of notification services).

Anthony,
My blog did not get crawled even 48 hours after it was published. Does it help to post the link here? (http://cahomebuyer.blogspot.com/) Thanks!

Hi Anthony,
If you're blog is brand new, I'm not sure how long it will take - for new websites, it sometimes take a month or more to get crawled. The more in-links you have the better. There is a whole checklist of things I do for new websites to make sure Google can crawl around. Sitemaps, submitting crawl request to Google, making sure other websites link to yours - all these things will help lead Google to your website.
